Thurio the Quiet

Just felt like sharing this tidbit. Thurio never directly talks to Silvia on-stage. I know sometimes a man can be shy but not even a "Hello" or a "My lady"... Silvia is one exquisite hottie to have tongue tied this poor bloke for the entirety of the play.

  1. That's so interesting. It's something I never would have noticed had you not pointed it out. I think something interesting about this show is how little interaction EVERYONE has with everyone else. Even the lovers are rarely onstage together it seems.

  2. That is fascinating, Brian.

Maybe he's tongue-tied, but it could also be - at least partially - that he really does view Silvia as property. The language of transaction definitely dominates the last scene of the play, at least.
